By accessing or using Swift Typing ("Service"), available at swift-typing.me or as a desktop application, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use our service.

Swift Typing is a free typing tutor application that provides:
- Structured typing lessons (50+ lessons)
- Real-time typing speed tests (WPM & accuracy)
- Typing games and multiplayer arena
- Progress tracking and analytics
- A desktop application available for Windows
The core service is provided free of charge. Premium features may be available via paid plans.
3. User Accounts & Profiles
Swift Typing allows you to create local user profiles stored on your device. By creating a profile, you agree to:
- Provide accurate information for your username
- Keep your profile information up to date
- Not impersonate any other person or entity
- Not use offensive, vulgar, or inappropriate usernames
Local profiles and progress data are stored on your device and are not transmitted to our servers unless you use online features (e.g., Swift Arena multiplayer).
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use Swift Typing to:
- Violate any applicable laws or regulations
- Attempt to hack, reverse engineer, or disrupt the service
- Use automated bots or scripts to manipulate typing scores
- Harass, abuse, or harm other users in multiplayer features
- Distribute malware or engage in phishing activities
- Circumvent any security or access controls
- Use the service for any commercial purpose without our written consent
5. Intellectual Property
The Swift Typing application, including its design, code, text, graphics, and branding, is owned by Suraj Maurya and protected by copyright and intellectual property laws.
You may not:
- Copy, modify, or distribute our source code without permission (unless open source license permits)
- Use our branding, logo, or name for commercial purposes without written consent
- Remove any copyright or proprietary notices
The project is available on GitHub under its respective open source license. Please review the license before contributing or distributing.
6. Third-Party Services
Swift Typing integrates the following third-party services:
- Google AdSense — for displaying advertisements
- Google Analytics — for usage analytics
- Supabase — for multiplayer and cloud features
- Netlify — for web hosting
Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the practices of third-party services.
7. Advertisements
Swift Typing displays advertisements provided by Google AdSense on the website. These ads help us keep the service free. By using the site, you acknowledge and agree to:
- The display of third-party advertisements
- Google's use of cookies to serve personalized ads
- Not clicking ads artificially or encouraging others to do so
Artificially inflating ad clicks or impressions is a violation of Google's policies and these Terms, and may result in legal action.
8. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability
Swift Typing is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that:
- The service will be uninterrupted or error-free
- Results from using the service will meet your expectations
- Any errors in the service will be corrected
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Suraj Maurya shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.
9. Purchases & Refunds
If you purchase a premium plan or lifetime license:
- Payments are processed securely via Stripe
- We offer refunds within 7 days of purchase if the product does not work as described
- Digital downloads (e.g., desktop app) are non-refundable once downloaded and verified working

10. Termination
We reserve the right to terminate or suspend access to the service at our sole discretion, without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties.
11. Governing Law
